What happened to the alert?
I just now noticed I had an unread message in my inbox dating back from the 21th December. A message from last year which I hadn't even noticed.
I've noticed that I don't really get alerts anymore when I have unread messages like I did in the past. Is this something which was removed from the forum or just my computer being silly and not wanting to show it? |

The Javacript popup alert is working well here.
- check if your your Javascript is active in your browser. - moreover, you only have one popup alert / pm |

I'd definately say it'd be easier to see if you have a new PM Thanks.
*Goes to look for the search new posts which seem to have been knocked away by info panel* |

It's maybe a little big, but nobody stay very long on the main page, always click on "view new post" well, wait & see |

I like the front-end, myself. It's nice to logon to EAB and see my avatar headlining!
One thing that might make more sense on changing one's avatars, however: can there be a toggle for whether to load all of the in-house stock avatars each time. It can be set to display them all as default (good for newbies), but it would be more practical for us fanatics to be able to switch off loading all of those avatars every time we visit that page. |

solution: I can display less avatar than the 57 one
you know, 20 per page or something like this, with the custom one at the end of all those page. the bad point is that newbies won't see 'all' the basic avatar on one page, but is it really important ? |

Thanks, RCK. That's much nicer, much faster, and feels better.

I guess I need plenty of time to get used to this.
I was completely unaware of two previous PMs from RCK he sent yesterday. And all because I was expecting the old pop-up window to materialise. |

Hmm, this morning I got a message saying I had a new PM, but when I checked, I didn't . I selected "open in new window" and it just showed my inbox with my one and only old PM there.
