The application discs for the Maths and English are 720k PC formatted.

Your files could come in handy because the 11-12 Maths Application disc seems to be suffering from bad tracks/sectors.

I used the dosdrivers PC0: for copy

ADI1 requires applications on floppy disks in 720Ko format. The application diskettes work on Amiga, Atari ST and PC. They are sold with the environment disk for each age or separately on an additional diskette. The environment disk of each age is common to all applications of each age.

- ADI1 (ADI, ADI1.STK, ADI2.STK): French/English/Italian/Spanish version

ADI2 is able to read ADF floppies and is hard disk compatible. Just copy the application files next to the executable.

- ADI2 Primaire (ADI2, ADI2.STK, ADIPRI.STK): French version - CE1/CE2/CM1/CM2- 07-11 year
- ADI2 College (ADI2, ADI2.STK, ADICOL.STK): French version - 6e/5e/4e/3e - 11-15 year
- ADI2 GCSE (ADI2, ADI2.STK, ADITER.STK): English version - 14-16 year

ADI applications are ADI1 and ADI2 compatible.

ADI*A1.STK / DESC*A1.ADI = 07-08 year
ADI*91.STK / DESC*91.ADI = 08-09 year
ADI*81.STK / DESC*81.ADI = 09-10 year
ADI*71.STK / DESC*71.ADI = 10-11 year
ADI*61.STK / DESC*61.ADI = 11-12 year
ADI*51.STK / DESC*51.ADI = 12-13 year
ADI*41.STK / DESC*41.ADI = 13-14 year
ADI*31.STK / DESC*31.ADI = 14-15 year
ADI*0*.STK / DESC*0*.ADI = 17-18 year (Bac)

ADI2 GCSE (English version) has new applications:
ADI*01.STK / DESC*01.ADI = 14-16 year
they have the same name as the BAC apps (17-18 years old) of the French version. These french apps work with this ADI2 GCSE english.

ADI2 PC applications are not ADI2 amiga compatible because they are in high definition. (The applications ADI2 PC launch but you cannot click on the protection codes which are outside the visible frame)

Thanks for the info Aladin, it's good to understand the details.

As educational software goes, the ADI series was quite complex and ambitious in its way. It's also software that I used myself (yes, ADI may have helped me pass an exam or two), so it feels only right that I help preserve it.

How about TOSEC itself, can it be confirmed that the disks have been/will be incorporated into the next release?

The Application on the earlier versions were PC Format 720kb but the Environment Disk was standard Amiga disks.

I believe according to earlier posts in this thread that all the Application disks were PC format and then supplied with the relevant Environment disk for whichever system it was for.

These disks are basically Amiga-ST-PC compatible. If the disk is extracted in IMG format, it will be destined for the PC branch.
Disks must be in IPF format (multi-format and platform support) to be integrated into the Amiga branch.

I've still got these.

So if you tell me how to dump them I can do them in the next few days.

Dumping can be done with either a GreaseWeazle or Kryoflux

With a dump in raw format (Kryoflux, for example), conversion to IPF should not be insurmountable

I've dumped the English 12-13 set using the UI with a setting of 'KyroFlux stream files, preservation'

The Environment disc is a standard Amiga disc.
The Application disc is a PC disc.

Let me know if these are any good or if you want them in a different format please.

Edit: I meant to say these are in the Zone
