IRC Server flooded with spam and no ircop/op there to sort it

I have tried emailing the contact of the server, as well as messaging via the forums here, about the tons of spam occurring there recently, some idiot posting about another irc network

As of yet, my email has gone unanswered, and the spam keeps coming

The main channel is unregistered now meaning nobody will ever get ops on joining, therefore nobody will ever be able to stop this spammer

Please can the owner join and register the channel and give ops to some of the users, so at least we can deal with the spam while you are not around or active

If you need a more permanent solution, I would like to put myself forward, and if you need references, please feel free to join unrealircd support channel where I am a channel operator, and I also run my own irc server, so I have experience of being an ircop and can easily deal with these spammers

I've joined the IRC server and tried to give you OP rights. Please let me know if it worked.

Edit: Never mind, I'm not a channel operator anymore it seems.

Thanks, at least I can sort them out if I see them now

Although note that my ops is only temporary and will only last until I lose connection such as by ping timeout which I hope will not happen, but as reliable as the internet is ..

Since the channel is still unregistered, it will not give anyone ops on rejoining, until it is re-registered and someone is added to the access/flags list - I do have a registered nickname there as well if you wanted to op me permanently
