Amiberry 3.0 very slow

With great difficulty, I was able to install Amiberry 3.0 on my Raspberry Pi 3b+. However, it runs very slow, while version 2.25 ran just fine. I complied it with SDL2, is this the problem? What should I do?

Install amiberry 3.0.1 via RetroPie Setup.

cd RetroPie-Setup
sudo ./retropie_setup.sh
Update the Updatescript
Then deinstall the old amiberry and install the new via source.

I just installed it.

This version now saves the settings for "Line Mode = Double" too, which is necessary to read the menu of e.g. Deluxe Paint in good quality.

Z3 fast can now set to 1GB.

It runs a little slower. On my RPi 4 i had with version 2.25 in Sysinfo 4.3 around 44000 Drystones now I have 35260.

Workbendch 3.1.4.1 dont have an error message at startup with JIT = ON anymore, but still dont load completly. So JIT dont work for me at all.

Cheers
Sid

P.S.: If you want, install SCUMMVM too, there is now the fullversion 2.1.0 out.

I managed to install version 3.0.1 just fine, but it is still unusably slow. The old version was full speed under most circumstances with no frame skip, at least when emulating a stock A500.

I guess this is down to the cpu of the rpi. Amiberry v3.0.1 is working fine on my odroid n2 with emuelec.

As a datapoint, Amiberry 3.0, 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 are working at least full-speed on my Pi 3B+ (or at least as fast as any previous installation).

I checked the Amiberry website, the issue seems to be vsync-related. Those running NTSC at 60hz complain that they only get 30hz. I run PAL with 50hz refresh rate set in the config.txt file, I only get 25hz in Amiberry.

Version 3.0.4 works just fine. The vsync issue has been fixed.
