As a registered user of the previous version, does 18.0 just copy over without issue?

It's been ages

For using present installs Yes. If you were using a much older version consider to update S:WHDLoad.prefs.

this would be a killer-feature, but it has been discussed before. It's difficult to implement because of different Amiga-configurations or something(?).

Save-state support would be really nice.

it isn't top on my list because:
- many are using emulation I assume and here it isn't needed (I really don't have an idea how much are using real hardware and how much emulation)
- it would require MMU/Snoop which limits the usable hardware
- it will be complicated and time-consuming to implement I fear

I think that most WHDLoad users are real hardware users. After all the biggest benefits WHDLoad offers are for real hardware (faster loading speeds, compatibility fixes for AGA/040/060) which you can usually work around in emulation (change CPU type, set Floppy speed to turbo, etc.)

The fact that it'd require MMU kinda limits the userbase, you're right on that... but it would be a super-awesome feature

I like to add an Update check for the Slaves and WHDLoad. Maybe also a way to rate the games/demos.

I don't know how to make this. Using a real CDROM drive? There is no standard interface. Also how many people have connected their drive to the audio output. ATM I think not worth the effort.

Thanks a lot for this amazing piece of software. Not only useful with real hardware but in emulation too.
