MOS PuP SDK
Hi, I am looking for the SDK for MorphOS 1.4.x (PUP).
Can't find that on the net. Can someone give me a hint here? |

Are you sure there was a separate SDK for PowerUp boards? IIRC there was only one MorphOS SDK.

I don't know. I just could find some mos developer connection posts with the help of the wayback machine. And in these posts they reference several lha files, like mossdk_base.lha.
Maybe that is all the same? |

AFAIK, there was only a single SDK which covered all versions of MorphOS. But the last version of MOS that also ran on PowerUp hardware was 1.4, and that was released in 2003 or so. If you want to make sure your project also runs on PowerUp hardware, you might have to try and get your hands on a very old version of the SDK.
Problem is: back then SDKs were only available for registered members of the "MorphOS developer connection", i.e. this will be hard to find now. Your best bet is probably to ask in the official MorphOS IRC channel. |

The first vbcc versions to support MorphOS were from 2000, so there must have been a public SDK somewhere, as I have never been a MOS developer.
My main development system is a Pegasos2 running MorphOS 1.4.4, so I'm always making sure that vbcc is still working on it, even with the latest SDK, as long as you don't use any of the new functions. Then, when I searched a little bit on my disk, I found two renamed directories, called include1.x and autodocs1.x. They have timestamps from 2004 and most likely belong to the 1.4-SDK. I have uploaded them here: http://phoenix.owl.de/mossdk1_4.lha Have fun! |
