Subway USB installation
Hi:
I've received today a Subway USB controller from Amigakit for my A1200. I've only put one of the usb connectors, as I don't think I'll need more and don't want too many holes on the Amiga. All went without problems (I think it looks nice), and I installed it my own way. I've installed the disk and it reads right the usb. The thing is when I reboot a message appears saying "Envarc:Psdstackloader unknown command". What must I do? Here go a couple of photos: Last edited by Retrofan; 10 July 2010 at 00:27. |

You either need to start Trident (in Prefs/MUI required) and add SubwayUSB as a device then click Online then Save
Alternatively you can use the command line USB commands as per the Poseidon documentation to Save the settings. Once the settings are saved, PSDStackloader file will be in sys ![]() It is also a good idea to extract the contributions such as FAT95 (which should be put in the L: drawer) |

Thanks. It's been very easy. I didn't know how to do it.
One thing: yesterday I began to try Mp3 players and I found (for me) AmigaAmp is the best. Yesterday (and now) I had some messages of needed libraries. I've installed some of them (maestix and toccata), but it still asks for Openpci.library version 1. I found another, but it seems it needs only that. I'm not changing the thread: now I get a message of "can't open AHI device" when I start AmigAmp, that I didn't have before. I believe it's caused by the Subway... Where can I find AHI (I have OS3.9)? If I try to open project, it says "No output device available", which I didn't get when the Subway was disconnected. And openpci v1? |

Install ahi v6 from Aminet. Remove all unused ahi sound card drivers that are not physically installed in your system. Install the latest ixemul libs from amiga.sourceforge.net and guigfx Libs

Sorry to ask things I can find in Google. I've already installed AHI and it works right now, but still I've got the message for the openpci.library version 1. Will it dissapear with that?

Ok it's solved. It seems by now it's impossible to get openpci.library v.1, but I readed in a post solved by Piru of amiga.org:
In DEVS:AHI there is the emu10kx.audio driver ... which is not used by G-REX1200 , so by deleting this emu10kx.audio driver, there is no more request about openpci.library... Now there's no message. Thanks again |
