[A1200] Check ROM version of Apollo 1240?
Is it possible? I've just bought an Apollo 1240 - 40MHz from eBay.. It has got mach131, that's all I know. The seller told me that he could check the ROM version for me-- but only if he knew how...
Can he plug it into his A1200 and somehow check the ROM version of the flash? Hopefully the ROM is 060 compatible! Here's pics btw, if you somehow can tell its revision by the looks: Front: http://img1.jpegbay.com/gallery/000501063/1_f.jpg Back: http://img1.jpegbay.com/gallery/000501063/2_f.jpg It says "Paragon" on the white little label on the back... New or not? Last edited by 8bitbubsy; 17 January 2010 at 03:56. |

No, the Apollo 1240 use a smaller ROM chip than the Apollo 1260, it must be swapped in order to upgrade the card.
