These appear very thin on the ground!!

Has anybody got one? I'm really struggling to set up mine!!

Cheers

DLH has an electronic version.

What aspects are you struggling with? BBOAH and amiga.resource.cx both describe the jumper functions. The “Introducing the A2000HD” and “Introducing the A2500” manuals describe setup in a 1.3 environment (but note that older versions of those manuals are tailored for the 2090 rather than the 2091). Drive setup information was moved to the manual “Amiga Hard Drive” for OS2.x and newer.

Make sure your 2091 ROMs are at least v6.6, preferably v7. Really old versions won’t work on anything newer than Kickstart 1.3.

Matt - I think I've solved it. I was installing 3.1.4.1 on an A2000 and it hadn't occurred to me to check the HD Tools Icon Tooltypes. Obvs they are set by default to uaescsi.device these days and scsi.device was bracketed out. Rookie Mistake, my bad. Swapped these over, saved an voila!! Everything seems to be good now.

BTW - that's a great archive (DLH) that you pointed me towards - what is it do you mind me asking? Is this on the EAB Google Drive server?

Glad you got it working!

DLH is a force unto himself. He started scanning/PDFing/hosting all sorts of Commodore documentation a couple of years ago and now has a really, really impressive collection of stuff for all sorts of vintage platforms. He and retro-commodore.eu can probably solve all of your documentation needs.
