Pacman / Gridrunner crossover game
The game consisted of a grid exactly like gridrunner but instead of a ship, you were Pacman! [EDIT 2-July-12: see Photoshopped mock-up of screenshot attached to post #5] There were no pellets, and I can't remember what enemies if any were on the screen but you had to collect the fruit dotted around the grid. There was a maze of sorts in the form of a few walls here and there. There were no ghosts that I can remember, only the gridrunner turrets on the borders of the screen that followed you until they were lined up with you at which point they would shoot a laser bolt that would travel slowly across the screen that you had to dodge.
The first level was easy enough, no walls and only one turret but it became more complex as walls and extra turrets were introduced. I only had the demo for this that had about five levels but it was absolutely ace! This it might have been PD and there is a small chance it wasn't on the Amiga at all (hoping it was though!) Please help! Last edited by pickaweapon; 02 July 2012 at 23:47. Reason: To draw attention to mocked screenshot I've subsequently added |

Thank you for the suggestion s2325!! This might be it, I'm not sure. The screenshot you've provided isn't opening I'm afraid and finding an adf for it is proving difficult. Do you happen to have it s2325?

Thanks a million s2325! Cool game! It crashed on the second level so I'll have to try it with a different Rom.
Alas however, it's not the game I'm thinking of. In the hope it might jog someone's memory, I've mocked up a screenshot of how I remember it using Photoshop (see attachment) |
