What was that Lazarus thing about?
Something I always wondered... On a native A500, ks1.3 sometimes when I formatted a floppy with it, it would name it Lazarus.
What was that about? Was that something built into the firmware? |

No as Hungry Horace said. When you format a disk under WB it is called 'Empty' by default.
Diskdoctor would name the disk Lazarus after it had supposedly resurrected the dead disk (though it was pretty useless and programs like DiskSalv were much much better) - so you can see where the name comes from |
