How to use Ghidra on packed games

Hello,

I would like to give a shot at exploring Eye Of The Beholder II using Ghidra. There are many game versions available on the net, but all seems to be packed.

From what I understood, I have to use an unpacker like xfdMsater. But first I would like to know if there's an unpacked version available somewhere ? I'd rather not waste too much time on this. Else, can you point me to something to help me on this task ?

I tried to use Ghidra on an uncompressed gamestate of FSUAE, but the most important parts are drowned in the dump.

xfddecrunch unpacks most formats. You'll get 100% the same exe than the original (not the case if you have used modern packers like cranker where you'll need to get hold of the original or work from dump...)

for Eye Of The Beholder II you can also ask CFou! for his reverse, since he did the AGA version.
