How to extract whdload games on vanilla wb

Ive installed 3.2 from floppy discs and im trying to extract the game .lha archives onto my internal hdd.
Ive put the dopus 4 floppy in once wb3.2 is at the desktop. I get it ready to extract but when i click on arc extract nothing happens.
What am i missing?

No. Dopus 4 for dearchiving .lha archives using LHA, you must have LHA in C: directory.

Sounds like lha is not installed in c: you can navigate here in dopus and check.

If you do not have a file called lha your system does not have the Lha archive tool so both amiga so and opus do not know how to extract lha archives. You can download lha from aminet

https://aminet.net/package/util/arc/lha

Once downloaded and on your amiga you can open up shell and type cd and the path where Lhasa.run is located eg “cd dh0:”

Next type “lha.run RAM:” without quotes

This will place lha in your ramdisk you can now use dopus to copy the correct version of Lha for your cpu to c:

once copied to c if necessary (for example you have a 68020 cpu and chose lha_68020) rename the file to lha

Reboot your amiga and arc extract in doors should work.

Also just to make sure all possibilities are covered when you click arc extract make sure the archive is highlighted and the lister with the archive is active (has the red line at the top)
