Simon The Sorcerer II for CD32 + TF330 ? - Page 2

The ScummVM version, whenever it has music and french talkie version runs slower than the AmigaCd version and has a bad quality audio. I think it needs a 040

For my part i will stay on the amiga version with french subtitles and english audio, it's more playable on TF330

thanks Rochabian & Aladin for good job ! , for me I prefer the English native version, best performed it have more charm ! emulation under ScummVM need more power, same for running Sam&Max talkie version under emulation is not full speed and if you add midi music it's slideshow, wait & see for future 68060 card.....
I've just played the intro and beginning , such funny game and great graphics same as Discworld famous series

Hi, i have a CD32 with TF330 but the AmigaCD from Simon the Sorcerer 2 will not run, maybe the Doublespeed CD-Rom is to slow? How can i play it? Is there a WHDLoadversion to find? I‘m not so professional. Is it possible to install the game on CF-Card? I only have the CD32...

The game doesn't need installation, if you have a TF330 with CF card, just copy the files that are on the Cd to a folder on your CF card, and run the game from there. The Amiga CD of Simon II is not bootable directly on the CD32, because it's not a CD32 game.

Hi Rochabian, thank you for your help! I tried it yesterday and it works. I have not so much time for playing with my CD32 because my kids. I tried to save the game with the postcard, but when i was there i could not save an i could not go back to the game...

I tried the same with TZero, but this game wouldn´t start. Seems to be not enough chipmem.

You ave to "use" the postcard, then a menu appears to load or save a game

For TZer0, it's an Amiga CD game too, and for now you can't have the music within the game on CD32.
Perhaps someone will fix it because it has bugs with a 68020. Earok has made a modified iso for CD32 but there is still some bugs

Yes is used the postcard with the hammer. Then i go to save and it opens a window, looks like DOS. In the black box in the upper part of the window i see following:

AHI Schublade (Drawer)
data Schublade (Drawer)

Muster #?.ssv
Schublade
Datei SimonSave.ssv

Ok Laufwerk(Drive) Mutterv. Cancel

When i am here i can do what i want and nothing happens. I can not save, i can not go back. I made a new drawer named SimonSave.ssv but its the same. Maybe you have an Idea what i make wrong?

Are you launching the game from the CD or from HDD ?

i just made a copy of the files from cd to cf-card an start the game when i click on the icon with simon. Then the game starts after chosing sound and picture options...
