Is this a good price for a CD32?

I've been offered this:

AMIGA CD-32 (PAL) new in its box (with manuals, gamepads, cables, everything) with SX-1 expansion, new in box, and a KEYBOARDnew in box.
Also 4 PLAYER ADAPTOR new
SWITCH MOUSE-JOYSTICKnew

plus Cds with software

All for 270 dollars

Nice deal?

How do Lucasfilm land dollars translate to US dollars?

I hope your cashcard is topped up Zak.

New in box sounds great. I would go for it if it is what you really want.

I'd say it's a fair price for the hardware. The question is whether its the right price for you?

The CD32 is pretty much just for gaming, not building a new MacClone extended amiga since the expansion options are pretty limited. I spent around €70 for my (unexpanded) CD32 and it runs pretty much any game I want, either in the original CD32 or the JST/WHD version. If your after gaming, this is not what you want.

On the other hand, for (hardware) collectors/completists, it’s a fair price, those SX1 units are hard to come by.

*edit* Oh, and just to clarify, the extended package does run more games then an unexpanded CD32, especially with the extra ram and keyboard. But then again, so does a further expandable A1200.

I was thinking about keeping the CD32 and making a hefty sum out of the new in box SX1 on eBay :> I already got an accel'ed A1200 to play with.

My CashCard is full of money. I won the Lotto recently!
