Baud Bandit II

damnn read the script wrong.

The script was for Baud Bandit II.

I checked TOSEC on planetemu.net but it isn't in there.

And amiga nostalgia seemed to of have taken their tosec Applications off-line .

Does any on have any links to TOSEC Amiga Applications online. I checked on google and the tool seems to be in TOSEC V0.2x and above.

You don't have to download the whole thing! Any decent BitTorrent client allows you to choose what to d/l and what to leave behind.

It looks like that torrent is nearly dead anyway so I'll put it in The Zone for you.

Thanks for the upload OddbOd. =]

So what BitTorrent client allows you to view the archive, and download individual files from it ? (I just use the standard one).

I mean on the site all I saw was a list of .adf files in the archives but no individual link for them.

The most popular clients other than the original BitTorrent are the Java based Azureus which I find a little over burdened with features that I would never use and BitTornado which is a second cousin of the official client. Both are capable of individual file download, well actually that's a bit of an oversimplification, because of the way torrents are broken up into evenly sized blocks rather than files you have to download enough complete blocks to complete any one file, in practice it just works.

TorrentSpy is handy if you want to see what files are contained within a torrent and how many people are currently connected, one hint, if it doesn't work and you are running WinXP then set the TorrentSpy executable to Windows 95 compatibility mode.

Bitlord 1.1 (based on BitComet) allows you to see all the files, tick the ones you want, then start the download. I use that feature all the time...
