That has reminded me that I got a cracked version of Prince of Persia with an A1200 I bought back in the day. It never worked, and always ended up with that "Unexpected Load Exception" screen. That was a bog standard A1200, KS 3.0, and none of the early startup options helped. I thought I had a damaged disk, but seems it was a common issue with cracked versions... Interesting!

I think its the games flakey disk system, so thats been solved by single filing the entire game.

Strictly a BETA version, if this works I have maybe a plan for Prince of Persia.

I completely removed the original disk loading system and single filed the entire game and used AmigaDOS to load everything.

I remembered back in the day that Persia could be a fickle loading game, so bypassing the original loader seemed to be a good idea.

I will now move on with my plan for Prince of Persia.....watch this space

Just make sure that it is also possible to save the game with CRTL-G.
I remember that only one version exists, where this worked? It was the Fusion crack with fix by Eurosoft, if I remember correctly?
