It's Friday which means It's time for another "Shit Game Time" review where I call out the poo-grammers and poo-blishers for selling us kids such cruddy games back in the day


This week It's been requested that I shitrate and flush into the vault of shitness "Mafdet and The Book of The Dead", such a class game showing off the Amiga power,...yeah right

To be fair - I think Zeus was reading from the manual but I have found it and it doesn't say very much!

Terrible game - ST conversion I think but now available at the bargain price of £59.99 on ebay:

really horrible. No scrolling but the room changes when you're still pretty much at the centre of the room... Dumb and repetitive... Didn't know that game.

pick whdload collection and start from letter A, try to play all the games. You'll never reach letter B alive. So many turds along the way.

eh eh i know this game. i reviewd on my fanzine, but i give Medal Bronze because initially has nice things and then because when you transform in "cat" you are invincible. In the long run, however, become very boring.

You're right! I wouldn't make it past the 2nd game... but not for the turds. Plenty of great Amiga games start with 'A'!

He even says in the description he's not really tested that it works. The state of the box and manual kinda suggests it's not the best way to spend £60.

on-topic: trading-blows games... slightly less terrible than single-hit-death games. Yay standing still and hitting a button until that which stands in front of you dies... So much fun.

Any game which gives you the opportunity to constantly wonder how you can be spending your time better because your brain is not required to play the game is a bad game.

it'd be more worthwhile to try and create a finished version of Son of Zeus to be honest. The combat and style is similar but better.
