Lollypop
Has anyone ever managed to get a visible screen in Rainbow Arts' Lollypop for AGA Amigas?
When I load up the game everything works fine until the actual game starts. The music is played and it is possible to control the sprite but only a black screen is displayed. Is it an exotic configuration setting I have to use? Many thanks in advance. |

May I ask you to upload the AGA version, please?
There are two full Lollypop disk sets in TOSEC, but neither of them is AGA. BTTR suggests using ECS13 config, so the only version they have listed is the OCS/ECS version. I've never known that an AGA version of this game exists. |

My version of Lollypop is non-AGA
It seems once again you are right, Andreas.
My version of Lollypop (a trained Prodigy crack) also runs on non-AGA Amigas despite the graphics looking very AGA-esque. Nevertheless I cannot get the game run correctly in WinUAE with any configuration. The black screen keeps popping up - iIn Winfellow Lollypop runs fine however. And what a game it is.. it has moved straight up to in my list of all-time favourite platformgames on Amiga. |

Black screen problem in WinUAE confirmed.
Can't be cured with an exotic configuration. There's an important memory address missed, it seems. Toni? |

??
Seems to work properly here...
0821r4, default a500 configuration + 2mb chip (quite strange memory requirements for game that works with ks1.3/68000...) |

Thanks, I finally got it working.
2 MB Chip, no fast RAM, no slow RAM. Slow RAM makes the thing GURU, so don't use it. If the strange memory requirements happen to *not* be a WinUAE problem, I doubt this game will work on an A500. |
