Anyone know how to play this game?
http://hol.abime.net/5674 It was reviewed in Gen4. It appears to be wrongly in the PD TOSEC collection but I suspect there might be a missing second disk (Cracktro refers to final version of Simple 2 disk). Also I can't figure out how to get into the game once on the title screen. I've uploaded the disk to the Zone. If anyone knows any details about this or how to play, or has another copy please let me know so I can get a DBS for HOL. ![]() |

err, joystick did nothing when I tried earlier.
I've now managed to complete the first level, but it just keeps reloading the first level. |

works fine, once you complete the first level you then have to input the number of the next level you want to play. it won't let you play a level until you've done the levels before it.

At a first quick glance, it looks like a German production.
![]() The publisher's name is a word game, which appears to only work in German: "legal" = legal, lawful "egal" = it does not matter. "Es ist mir egal" = I do not care. Yet it could be PD. But prove me wrong if you want ![]() I also took a look at the French review, which said prix nc. That could stand for non constaté = price not set yet. Which could mean no price was set because there were no French distributor at the time of the review. I was not a reader of Gen4 and cannot therefore tell if they had a special mention for PD games or not, but most French magazines would not mention 'prix nc' if the game was PD. Thus it quite likely to be a commercial release or at least was suppposed to. Also worth noticing is the fact the review refers to the publisher as Degal. I suppose it comes from a bad reading of the stylished (L). Finally, looking at the screenshot I noticed click is spelt klick. Another clue to a possible German origin? Edit: (L)egal could also work in French. Legal same meaning as in English and egal means equal. But that would make much less sense than the German play on word. |
