CD32 "SX1" Faulty - Searching for Circuit Diagram
Hi all,
my SX1 won´t work.. Only RGB is functional.. Does anyone have the Circuit Diagrams? thx |

I don't think it is available. And the contents of the CPLDs are also not available.
Check for battery damage? There are very few capacitors on this board but see if they have leaked. The TF328 is a suitable replacement if you can't fix it. |

Thanks for your reply.. No good news for me.. I hope they are not defect... Do you know if anyone already has tried to read the firmware from the CPLD? Is it protected?

They are usually protected. No reason why not to write protected. It's one click in the GUI when programming. Doesn't take any extra time. CPLDs don't usually go wrong. I was trying to say you can't tell what the full circuit is, and thus debug it's behaviour, without the contents of the CPLD. The most likely cause is the backplane connectors. |
