Amiga 1000 Rejuvenator upgrade

My Amiga 1000 has a Rejuvenator with 1MB chip RAM

Is it worth upgrading to 2MB?

THanks!

More chip RAM is always a plus in my book, but I guess it depends on what you're using the system for and whether you can get the chips for a not-insane price.

I have the 2mb Agnus. The million dollar question is what RAM do I need and where can I get it.

If I remember correctly the Board was already populated with 2 MB of Ram and all you needed to do was change the jumpers. I think the RAM chips were 256K x 4 each. Its been a long time since i owned it, my memory might be faulty. Replace the 4 - 256k x 4 RAM labelled 256K/1M at U6, U8, U10 and U12 with 4 1M x4 RAM. Remove the 8 256K x4 RAM at the front of the Rejuvenator board. Jumper J103.

@videofx, do you have the original Rejuvinator or the new reverse engineered one?

The manual on BBoAH mentions chip types, but not specific part numbers - hopefully that's enough to go on.
