As a download, Exodus: The Last War. As a physical copy, I think it was either Earth 2140 or Descent: Freespace.

Floppy disk based ?? Probably Wing Commander. For my B2000
CD32 was the last system I bought so it probably would have been either Chaos Engine or Dgeneration. |

There is another, rather lengthy older thread about exactly this topic... but too lazy to search ATM.

As for the topic subject, the last Amiga game I bought was back when I had real hardware, but I certainly can't remember for the life of me what it was. |

Firstly, sorry for the off topic.

Great move getting a CD32. Chaos Engine and D-Gen both good games! |

If I was a magazine reviewer for Amiga Format or something like that I'd probably give it around 82% maybe. Its not really the type of game I like to play personally but I'm interested in supporting development of new titles. I hope to encourage more people to develop and sell their games for the Amiga.

Off a store shelf it was Xtreme Racing and the Data Disk update in 1996 (I still have both big boxes). More recently Payback from Amigakit at Play Expo Manchester in 2012 (and it's still sealed). Possibly some others from ebay since but can't remember dates.

I think the last Amiga game I bought fresh from the store was Civilization. I had been thinking about it for quite some time and then decided to finally buy it. I took a train trip from Helsinki centre to Tikkurila in Vantaa (16 km per direction) just to buy it.
The last Amiga game I bought as a physical copy at all was probably Zarathrusta (note the spelling), which I bought from eBay used just because I liked the name. The disk had read/write problems, but that was hardly the seller's fault, so I downloaded a disk image from the Internet because having bought a physical copy I thought I had the right to possess one copy of the contents anyway. |

It was either Zeewolf or Roadkill in 1994.
Roadkill was ok, but it was no Supercars 2, and the track layouts were just not interesting enough after a while. Zeewolf was really impressive and a lot of fun, but there was quite a difficulty spike later on in the game that I didn't get over. The Amiga was in regular use until 1997, but no new games... |

Xtreme Racing (2nd hand of course) a few months ago. Can't actually play it as only have a CD32 but wanted it for the shelf as I played it SO much back when it was originally released and I had the original then as well but later sold
(Can play XTR via whdload off my TF card ) |
