Hero Quest + Witch lord expansion GERMAN LANGUAGE *fixed*

I fixed the German version of Hero Quest including the data disc.

Examples:

BREITESSCHWERT -> BREITSCHWERT
MUMMIE -> MUMIE
ORC -> ORK

and so on.

I also fixed many umlauts and some grammar stuff.

Please let me know if you find more mistakes.

Have fun.

WHDload version in the Zone.

EDIT V2:

Some more fixes:

"Burg" instead of "Schloss"

"Lade / speichere Charakter"

"Harnisch" instead of "Schildrüstung"

German charakter words: Barbar, Zwerg and so on. (Affects all languages, though.)

Main game and expansion fixed.

Ah yes, you should update the slave. I think the old 1.1 is included.

V1.2 is included in your archive.

Newest v1.3a slave is not compatible, I've tried that already.

That´s a bummer.

I guess it´s because the disk files were fixed by StingRay and you can´t simply use the old ones with my changes.

In fact, i should also fix the french version, because the translation is completely bad or fucked up......

Since the Italian re-translation of Cruise for a Corpse is almost done, I'd really like to begin a new project fixing the Italian version of Heroquest!

May I ask what tools did you use to export/import (or just edit) the language files? Would it be possible to make the changes directly on the ADF?

I'm using DosControl.
You can hex edit with no problem!

I'm editing the disk file in the WHDload package.

So ADF shouldn't be a problem...
