The Worst Ever Commercial Game Released on Amiga
Hey,
There were many amazing games on the Amiga. In all genres across all years the system was officially supported and had games released for. But among thousands of these games there were bound to be some black sheep. Some of them were obvious, titles that were either well known, hyped up or awaited for. Titles like Rise of the Robots, Shaq Fu, Akira or even Dangerous Streets. But as much as these were pretty bad in their own right, there was one that was actually much worse. This video is about this $hit nugget. [ Show youtube player ] Enjoy, if that's even possible. |

I mean this is terrible, no doubt. It would be half playable if the ball would actually go into the goal area.
But it does not make me want to throw up like Top Banana does. I'd rather have a broken game than a game that can be used to mentally reprogram people like they did in a Clockwork Orange and Street Fighter. |

It´s not really a game, but the worst ever tested Amiga Rubish was
Digital Dungeon from Magic Matrix. It gets a Review result of 1,5 % over all in the german magazine Amiga Joker. http://amr.abime.net/review_25187 |

So, what does this software do? Allows for generation of dungeons for D'n'D sessions or something like that? |

Sorry, friend! Nothing could be as bad as Akira or The Final Gate.
For sure, this looks pretty bad, but not worst-game-ever bad. It seems like it could have been decent as a PD title. |

@Matt_H
It was no PD. If you look on HOL you see the Box and it has 8 Disks. The Program costs over 100 Pounds in these days. The Screenshot which are shown on HOL are very curios. The Program is really tricky. Sometimes it crashed without meaning. The HD Installer did not work and it is very hard to handle, but if you spend some time It is possible to create better graphics than shown in HOL. Digital Dungeon is like to be a construction kit for Roleplaying Games. I spend some hours to make some better screenshots. There will be in HOL , soon. BTW: ProSoccer was together with Web Of Terror on worst Tests in second place at the Amiga Joker. Both get an over all review of 4%. Last edited by AMIPEGUSER; 07 July 2022 at 09:14. |

I'd like to give Subversion a mention here. The budget re-release got a 10% score in Amiga Format. I bought it at the time (sadly without spotting the review beforehand), struggled to get it working on my A1200, and when I eventually did get it to boot, I still thought it was broken, the game was so bad. So I returned it and swapped it for Jimmy White's Snooker IIRC, an immense upgrade over this rubbish.

I'd take the low mag review scores with a pinch of salt - same as the high ones. For example, "Amiga WELT: Sword Of Aragon SSI - 28%" but in Amiga Computing / ZZap - 82%.

28% VS 82%, that seems almost deliberate.

Man, that's such a clickbaity video!
The game title is Prosoccer 2190, not mentioned in the title but almost a minute into the video, and the actual gameplay starts at 3:30. I am happy for new Amiga content, but I think you could have streamlined this one a bit. |

I know I've said it few times already but the video doesn't give it justice. Just try it out for a minute or two, no more. I'm convinced you'll change your mind.
