Another R-Type copycat.
I'm looking forward to Alice Dreams or Rush Rush Rally: http://www.alicedreams.com/DownloadANG.htm http://www.senileteam.com/r4shots.php |

It might be another shooter but it does look quite nice.
I've been looking forward to Rush Rush Rally Racing for quite a while now though. EDIT: Should this thread really be in the News forum, seeing as it's not actually Amiga related at all? |

Well it's great to see people coming up with Dreamcast games that aren't shooters

It's good to see the DC scene so active - I may even be tempted to buy one... ...I must be the world's latest adopter: Never invest in a platform until it's been abandoned for at least 5 years. Is the DC there yet..? |

Yes, should be retrogaming general.
I bought Last Hope... for the NGCD! I consider the DC too modern. |

@Retro-Nerd
But, I collect NGCD so whether another version is better or not a consideration. (I have all NGCD except Ironclad, and the only reason I don't have that one is because for $250+ I want to find a sealed copy). BTW, are you sure it's perfect? How about the awful load times? Some emulators don't even show the load screens! |

Games like Metal Slug 1 & 2, Pulstar, Ironclad etc. runs fine on my Dreamcast. They probably have the same annoying load times like on real Neo Geo CD machines.

I don't think the dreamcast will ever die, it is just too popular. Makes me wonder why Sega killed it so quickly.

It can't have been that popular if Sega killed it off...? Certainly not "mainstream" enough, anyway.

and the problem was that sony show intro sequence (mpeg) of playstation 2 games and said to everybody : "it's in game". And it wasn't, everybody wait for the ps2 and there was nothing to see, the games which exist on the two platform was often better on dreamcast.
Sorry sony fanboys |
