Blizzard 1260 60060.library better version?
Good morning all.
I used very little the 1260 blizzard board given to me by a friend. I always had a preference for 1230 especially for coding and debugging using the MMU. So I ask myself a simple question? What is the best current version of the 60060.library for phase 5 blizzard 1260? I remember that when my friend bought his pre-assembled infinitiv tower amiga with 1260 card in 1995, the amiga had many random crachs, which I was able to correct by installing the correct version of the 68040.library and 68060.library which had not been installed by the seller ... but it's been a very long time !!!! do you have an idea? |

I use the Phase5 ones at the top of the page here:
http://phase5.a1k.org/ Another option is to install ThoR's MMU libs, which contains vendor independent 060 libs. https://aminet.net/package/util/libs/MMULib |

Also, if you are running 3.1.4 you no longer need a dummy 68040 library as it knows to load the 68060 library directly.
FWIW I use ThoR's MMU libs and 3.1.4 with my BlizzardPPC, and previously with my Blizzard 1260. |

If you use a 060CPU the MuTools from Thor are the way to go.

I can't seem to get this to work. It seems like no matter what I do, the 060 libs built into the bppc are the ones that are active. How did you set this up? Happy to set up another thread to discuss

You need to have BPPCFix right at the top of your Startup-Sequence like this:
Code:
BPPCFix install 040 >NIL: |
