GUI FTP Client
Can anyone recommend a good FTP client with a GUI for the Amiga (preferably free)? I've got Miami installed and I've set up and FTP server on my PC so now I'm wanting to transfer files.
It's just a temporary thing because I'm going to install Samba tomorrow. |

AmiTradeCenter (MUI) and AmiFTP (ClassAct?) are both good.

Do they both work with Miami? AmiFTP keeps crashing all the time and AmiTradeCenter doesn't seem to connect to servers.

Yes, I've used them both with Miami with no problems.

Hi:
it's an old post but im having troubles with AmiTradeCenter and some mui classes (NlistTree.mcc v18.0). Does anyone have this problem? For AMFTP is it still possible to register? Or is there a free AmFTP key? Best Regards Rod |

Yes, I remember having a problem with the mui classes which prevented ATC from starting up. But, all you have to do is download and install the latest mui classes, which you can find on the aminet.
Another thing... I am not sure if I am using the Aminet version. I think I had problems with Aminet version. But, my working version is v1.1223 (2/11/2003). I don't think it is possible to register AmFTP, and I don't think the keys are freely available. ATC is better than AmFTP, so I hope you can get ATC to work. |
