Unknown floppies: how to identify them using their checksums/CRC32?

Hi,

I have a problem with some floppies of mine: I don't know how to identify them.
They are not bootable disks or disk#1 of a game/program, else I would have the name .

Sometimes they have a disk name (e.g. "PSFonts" or "Disk3") but this won't help me...
Also, I tried examining all their content with my hex editor, but didn't find any helpful ASCII sequence.

Given their CRC32/checksum (and hoping their were not tampered with), is there a way to identify them (fast enough) on TOSEC or other similar archives?

This thread http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=42963 has helped me identify just under 32,000 of my ADFs.

Still got a few to go but it's a good start

If "ClrMAMEPro" cant identify some disks, try to unpack data, which contains the disk, and then you can scan unpcked data for ASCII sequence.

That's one of the things I did (see my first post) before opening this thread . No way...
