WinUAE and problems with multiple monitor setup

Hi Toni,

I use my Laptop always with lid closed and two monitors attached to it, with the option to span the Windows desktop over both.
If I start WinUAE, select a configuration and run the emulation I can trigger a WinUAE lockup if I move the emulation window from the left screen (monitor) to the right one (the emulation just stops).
If I kill and restart WinUAE, I can select a config, but if I start the emulation the windows will be moved to the old position (where I killed it before) and then the entire system hangs.
After a while the nvidia display driver kills itself and I have a 16 colour 640x something desktop and I can shutdown Windows normaly.
The only solution I found is to switch to one monitor setup, move the emulation window so that it is completely visible. Then I can use two monitors again.
Is this problem already known?

System is Windows XP SP3 running on an Intel i5 with DirectX9 an nVidia NVS3100M

Try latest winuae beta, it has Windows XP D3D ALT-TAB blackscreen fix that may be related.

Note that driver crashing is always driver bug, application should never be able to crash drivers.

Hi Toni,
Updated the video driver and with Beta17 all issues are gone.
Thanks!
