I need advice, got some questions, for anyone who reads this.
I want to improve the product. So I got these disks right now:

GOALnew47-disk1-boot.adf
GOALnew47-disk2-game.adf
GOALnew47-disk3-data.adf
GOAL-zak-data-20.adf

I think about making an own release of GOALnew 1 and 2 because this is the original game. Then I think about putting the 1992/93 teams from the two existing data disks on one new data disk and the world cup teams on a second seperate disk. So like this:

GOALnew1.adf
GOALnew2.adf
GOALteams1992-93.adf
GOAL-world-cup.adf

My questions:
1. Would this change be better or just confusing?
2. What would be better names for the product than just GOALnew? And for the other disks, too.
3. What would real professional adf-file-names look like? They should have a version number for future changes.

Hello provolik, I uploaded goaltrai.lha, it's the original lha I was given years ago.

I also uploaded GOALnew48.zip. The newest version.

I didn't change the diction yet, since there were no proposals. GOALnew48 has many changes like more original lineups and numberings and also some changes on disk 1.

Thanks for stopping by!

Edit: since you seem to be new here I also uploaded GOAL-zak-data-20.zip which contains the World Cup and some other teams.

So I guess no one cares for the label or the sorting of the disks, so I won't change. Just enjoy, I am very happy with the progress this year.

Was a huge GOAL! fan, Enjoyed it better than KO2 at the time, but now I am swayed back to KO2 as playing it online with others, so makes it hell of a lot more enjoyable experience

But will check this out too

Thanks, I appreciate!

I bought the German version of KO2, the disk is now destroyed, but I made a team with the KO2 names on a different, non-public Goal! disk, so that I can have the old KO2 feeling with Goal!. I wish there was a good working crack of KO2 and World Cup 90 in the German version, I somewhat cannot get used to the English version, it's just not like the old days.

Today I upload GOALpersonalZAK.zip into the Zone

It contains 2 disks:
GOALnew50-disk3-zak.adf is basically the data disk from the Goal! new 50 version, but it has some personal teams added. I accidentally uploaded this disk some years ago. Now it has evolved a bit more. There are new teams and new is also that I tried to comment the teams a little.

GOALzak1999.adf is my old data disk from 1999 long before I was active at this forum. Additionnally to the teams at "edit teams", you also need to load the leagues and cups in the league or cup section. You can then go back to the main section and enter "edit teams" to view the teams. Special is that I tried to make the player labels like defender, midfielder, forward match to the lineups. So there are really defenders playing back, forwards up front and so on, except that a 5-3-2 is sometimes a 3-5-2 because there was no other chance to do it. This was my intention how I wanted the lineups back then and maybe someone finds that interesting.

So I noticed that I have the same cup on my GOALzak1999 as in GOALnew50, so I invented a new fantasy cup made out of Goal! players and saved it to the disk. I tried to adjust the teams so that the cup is very tight in results but doable. Uploaded GOALzak1999 to the Zone! again.

Hello benvelor,
I placed a zip called GOALtrai.zip in the Zone! It contains an Amiga adf with the trainer on it, just insert the adf under Amiga OS and pull the GoalTrainer drawer to your harddisk. I tested it and it is working fine. It is normal that in the top line of the trainer the name "Trojans" appears. That's just the group that has written the trainer and will do nothing to your harddisk.
