Non-UAE harddrives and CDFS conflict

Hi there Toni

I'm having trouble with latest beta. I'm trying to install a couple of games on latest WHDLoad and some of them seem to hang when trying to show the icons. I'm using SPS images in IPF format (CAPSImg.dll 4.2.0.1).

It only happens when slaves' installer tries to show icons. Not sure it's WinUAE, I miserably hacked Workbench 3.1 with icon.library, workbench.library and SetPatch from OS 3.5 to have those nifty WHDLoad icons

Hard file path breaks if set to IDE0 and mounting a CD image (CDFS automout CD/DVD drives ticked, image mode, standard ISO9660 ISO). I can use both the CD and hard disk normally until I reset, then it doesn't boot since path of hard file is gone.
This doesn't happen with IDE-Fix 97 installed and "CDFS automout CD/DVD drives" is unchecked.
Also, switching images too fast usually results in WinUAE making a coredump (I have to wait for CD0 icon to appear before ejecting and loading a new image).

I'm not sure any of this stuff is useful to you, I'd be glad to provide any information you might require.

Most important question is: when did it start? Exact beta that introduces this problem.

Trying to figure out in what version you introduced this CD/DVD automount thing, I'll try all betas from there

Oldest version I could find with CD/DVD automount is 2.4.0.0. Same results.

With hardfile set to use UAE controller everything is fine, I can mount ISOs one after the other without an issue and paths are ok. With hardfile using IDE0 I can mount 1 ISO, then hardfile path breaks, and it refuses to mount any new ISO (no errors, just doesn't mount).

Moved as said in beta thread rules. Nothing to do with 2.5 betas.

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip should fix HD conflict and also fix some media change issues. Please confirm.
