Diagnosing Vampire V2 problems, where is Majsta

Mine powers up with activity light solid. Nothing more and would like some help from anyone good at this. Apollo team said Majsta is gone but I would like to at least contact him.

Which Vampire V2 Bromigo!? A500/2000, A600 or A1200?

Wasn’t aware majsta now left? Maybe why it explains no V4 for the A600 then..

A500 2017 version . I believe hand done by Majsta. Gunner was succinct in his answer on Apollo team discord, “he is not around”.

Right okay

So have you checked the connections to the mainboard?

Also did this thing work before hand?

Do you own a USB Blaster and the software for the PC?

It did work until I removed it to gain access to my 500 board. After reinserting it would not work. Then after a few tries I bent a few pins. Ok, I'm pretty sure they have been replaced properly.
So then I used a usb blaster and properly updated to 2.15 core. Did that twice to be sure, no errors were given after finishing.

Maybe I fried something but it does show power and activity light works. Just black screen. Using coffin OS with sd card or even removing Ide connector, nothing.

So have you tried the original M68K CPU? That way you can rule out something on the Mainboard.

Yes , checked with 68000, works fine.

are you trying to boot from the Vampires SDcard slot? if so this does not work and is not possibel.

Booting from ide connector. I’m just trying to get anything, even a vampire boot screen. Also disconnect ide drive and nothing there.

Maybe i should have mentioned but forgot in all the hubbub that when initially card was in checkmate case, the power and hd leds stopped working. Maybe a short or surge happened and damaged card. Maybe.

I have pistorm in checkmate now and that system still is working.
