Amiga Action Cover Disk 28 - Son of Zeus/Space Crusade

I'm having problems with this disk in WinUAE. I tried quickstart A500 and A1200. It just halts on the load screen

Any ideas or anyone got a working version? I downloaded the current version from AMR

Thanks guys

Can you recall what settings you used with WinUAE or did you run it on a real Amiga?

I'm currently using WinUAE 2.5.1

All I get is this

For this coverdisk you have to type in the program name (e.g. SONOFZEUS) to load it. Or did you get past that point?

type it in, hmm that's news to me, I never done that before on a coverdisk, I'll try that now.

Edit: <Facepaw> that totally worked thanks CodyJarret

You can look at files with ADF View with disks which have similar 'problem'.

I suppose that magazines sometimes did this if they didn't have time/were too lazy to create a menu or if there wasn't enough space left on the disk for a menu system.

I'd say it's too lazy, too incompetant and too unprofessional! A tiny program that simply opened dos.library and printed out the names of the programs on the disk would only take up a single sector of the disk (512 bytes).

Even a single line in the startup sequence would be enough?

Just grabbed 5minutes of spare time and that disk has nothing but the files on it lol. Just gonna check what space is left...

EDIT: 5mb's left... would it be possible to make a basic loader menu with ascii text and the proper folders? why did they not do this at the time? proper lazy lol.
