Netrok - Unable to load

Anyone ever heard of this game?

I have no clue what it is like but I would like to try it out, however I can't get the dam thing to load. Any ideas?

It's hard find any info about this game online, trust me I looked. I stumbled across it when someone put it down on a list of best PD games for the Amiga and this was their suggestion.

Apparently all I do is run it from the directory after extraction but nothing happens for me.

If you're talking about this game, it's OS4 only.

I'm not sure if you caught that or not, but mentioning it just in case.

It doesn't run for me because it says it can't open audio. The readme says:

Yeah I was gonna say, the OS4 version doesn't seem to be the same as what I have, but as I can see you already found the OS3 version. I don't even know where I found mine to download but anyways. I didn't do all the audio stuff, may be I should try it despite it still not working for you.

I've checked SnoopDOS and see it needs AHI installed, so make sure you have that installed and configured.

I can also see it fails trying to access cybergraphics.library on my machine, so that could be it and the audio message is incorrect?

I'd have to look into it more so I'm not sure at the moment, but if you continue, good luck!

I have AHI installed but not sure about cyber graphics. I will have a look.

At the same stag as you were it says fail for loading cybergraphics.library.

Is cybergraphics library for those with graphics cards only?

After putting the cybergraphics.library in my libs folder it passed this bit in snoop dos but failed loading all these bitmaps.

I took a look again, and got nowhere again.

I installed a newer version of AHI, set a bunch of environment variables that were failing in SnoopDOS, tried emulating a sound card expansion in WinUAE, etc. It always seems to fail for me.

Unfortunately I've never owned or researched graphics and audio expansions on the Amiga so things like AHI and RTG aren't really an area of expertise for me. I know cybergraphics.library is to do with graphics cards but can it be used using the expansions in WinUAE? I don't know.

I hope someone else with more knowledge can help out, because I'm pretty sure I'm out of ideas

Yeah I don't know anything about graphics cards either and my Amiga knowledge is low so I guess that's my efforts done too! I don't even know what this game looks like never mind install it. Not a sausage online of any visuals or videos for it. Could be absolutely shit

But sure we'll never know.

It was primarily available for Windows and Linux, but I guess it's been ported to Amiga and some handhelds.

It doesn't look like it's worth the effort to get running so I'm bowing out

Looks like Mario 2 a bit. I'd still like to try it but that's a bit mad it needs XYZ to run when it looks like a fairly straightforward platform game
