Bio Challenge works perfectly fine for me. Agony ingame though, horribly unfitting tune.

BLOOD MONEY (quite slow for a shoot em up, good for some adventure game)
CHUCK ROCK (too fast, simply out of place, good only for intro screen)
XENON 2 (music for some dance party, too strong beat, not for a shoot em up)

ideal music for a fast shoot em up

Also original slow and boring mod.planetarium in Deluxe Galaga. I have replaced it with mod.stardust_memories by Jester / Sanity (the music from World of Commodore 93 demo) many years ago and I am very happy with it.

All these games with unfitting music tracks are reasons why i go back to the games and replay them. Example bio challenge, Apidya, Xenon2 etc without their music tracks the games would be boring.

So would dogs of war have an out of place music track? I don't think so but do you?

No, I think Dogs of War have music fitted to scenery and action.

Deluxe Galaga has a file called "GALAGA.MODULES" which contains a list (up to 50?) of modules you like/chose. This will be played randomly. I think it is the better way then change "GALAGA.MUSIC". The game "Shift It" has also such a nice feature.

I feared that already. At least today (or since v1.7B -1994) we have the possibility. However, I understand replacing annoying game music with own or better one. Did it myself in the past, if possible.

Not sure about the amiga version that i did not see but the arcade version of P-47 was having some music that i found inappropriate for the genre, hear it:

Instead i remember a bootleg of USAAF Mustang arcade that used Raiden Music, and it was even well fitting it! (btw the game itself look cute to port if anyone fancy it)
