The Pawn protection

I had this game for the C64 and having never finished it I thought I would try now i'm a little wiser. However the Tosec version has the protection system where by after about 30 or so moves it asks you to turn to a specific page of the maual and type in a word. Does anyone have a list of the codes or a version that bypasses this.

there's several versions in tosec, i've uploaded one of the cracked versions to the zone

I have 2 of the manuals, unfortunately they where both printed incorrectly, iirc you had to add 1 line and a couple of words for every page in a chapter

grab a copy of the old (ancient really) lockpick program, it fixes the protection in the pawn and about 300 other games

thanks to you both for your help. Belgarath, i have downloaded the zip from the zone, do i have to do anything with it or will it be cleared automatically after a length of time. Am new to most of this.

I see you are an Eddings fan...

The zip will be deleted from the zone after a certain length of time so don't worry about that

as for me being a eddings fan..nope eddings is a fan of me!
