You think you could elaborate i.e:
  • Real Amiga (what model) or emulation (what configuration)?
  • What level did it crash on?
  • What were you doing at the time of the crash?

Oh I do, promise, it's just I don't know ALL of them by heart

Thanks a lot for the vid, great tactics (totally different from the arcade, but I quite like that, actually).

Haven't looked at the vid for level 99, yet. Let's see if I (or my boys) can crack it by ourselves...

YES, we did it. After getting stuck in level 99 for quite a bit, we finally worked it out (without looking at the vid ) and defeated the boss! I think the difficulty in defeating him is perfect as it is.
It was GREAT fun. Me and my boys will probably dream tonight of bubbles and jumping dragons...

@pink: THANK YOU SO MUCH once more for creating this, it's my game of the year and you're my personal hero now...

Yes, you have to pick up a cane / staff to get the big bonuses when clearing the level.
Check out this link for all the mechanics of the arcade original. Beware that Tiny Bubbles does not implement them all 1:1, but most are present in one form or another (f.e. crosses are floppy disks ).

The canes will be triggered by collecting the letters (the cane will appear in the next level after you collected a number of letters). Collecting a cane will make a big cake appear when the last enemy is defeated. Easy, isnt it

@pink: Is there a list of all the implemented features somewhere? I noticed Zarnal in post #433 referring to a description of yours. Where did he get that from (NOT post #1, I just checked )?

Btw: I LOVE that you implemented the feature in 0.993, where all bubbles on screen turn into bonus items if your score ends with ...110, ...220, etc. THANKS!

(Just tried RC3 and does the same) Found a bug I think. On my A1200 Vampire 2 when I press P to pause, I cannot resume. Works on my A3000. edit: Tested on my A4000/060 and it worked there.

Also had one incident of corrupt sprites on the end of one level then it went away.

This is great - my only comments would be that there is quite a delay after you get a 'special' bubble before it works. This is probably closer to the arcade but after years of having the 'faster' reaction on the Amiga, i think i personally prefer it that way.

My only other request would be an option to turn off the music but retain SFX. sacrelidge i know, but i oftenlike playing games with other music on in the background!

Other than that, it's really awesome work. At first i didnt think it was 'needed' but it truely is a wonderful experience to play. I'm not sure i'll ever go back to the original (!!)

I imagine this level would be a hell of a lot easier with 2 players; as you can just concentrate on the enemies on your side

Unfortunately, I have to confirm that the resume-pause-bug on real hardware (an A1200/030 in my case) is back since RC1. This was fine in 0.993.

This version is absolutely brilliant!

2 possible bugs I've found in RC3:

1) No secret door at level 20? (no lives were lost)
2) Music doesn't reset after collecting the red heart power-up (invincibility). The tune changes whilst active, but it never changed back to the normal tune afterwards.

During a "bonus bottle" and then picking up the last letter in EXTEND getting to the EXTEND-screen, the music acts funny switching between music tracks.
Gets OK eventually when next level starts.
