Avoid ROM check on initial use

Is there a way to avoid ROM check on initial use? I have WinUAE installed in a computer lab with multiple users. Each new user gets the ROM search window which I'd like to avoid. I set

config_hardware=false
config_host=false

which has no effect. Is there something else in the config file or command line to avoid the ROM check? Not a big deal, just something else to explain.

Thanks,
amichem

Not possible. (except if you run some kind of script that updates romscan-data in user's registry..)

Thanks Toni. I was looking at the source, and that seemed to be the case. Not sure why the check is necessary since the ROM can be set in the config file. The script file is probably a messy answer... I'll probably just live with it.
Wonder what config_hardware controls. Too bad the ROM wasn't checked "silently".

Thanks,

I guess initial (automatic) scan can be made silent.

That would be great, Toni. I know it's not a big concern. What's odd is on the initial check, no ROMS are found (and I have five in the ./ROM directory). If I check later, then they are found (of course not the 1.1 ROM).

What compiler do you use?
