AmigaSYS 5
Exclusive AmigaSYS 5 presentation (AGA, WinUAE)!
Soon the year is over and holidays are coming... I've read forums and received many emails since I announced the development of AmigaSYS 5. I felt from the words from many of you that you have doubts regarding the release of AmigaSYS 5, since the whole project is surrounded by a great silence as if nothing had happened. Of course this is not the case Now as Christmas is near, I will give some information about the current state of AmigaSYS5 AGA and WinUAE versions. This is a Christmas gift to you and the sceptics I will not reveal many extra information (it will come later) but some screenshots to show how it will look like. There's plenty of work to be done, I'm not in a hurry, no deadlines, but it's for sure that AmigaSYS 5 will include huge changes compared to the previous versions. I spent a lot of time in version 5 with creating wallpapers, boot images, program configs, scripts and ideas. I think the amount of time spent on it can be seen on the pictures. More information: http://amigasys.extra.hu Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Amiga users! Dary |

This actually looks really nice. You've added a Dopus config too, so people can choose between that or Filemaster.
The amount of work you do on these packs is very impressive, as is the range of machines you support. ClassicWB is nothing but a little hobby that takes little of my time these days, but I like how the two packs feel completely different to use. Caters for a wider audience. Good luck with your pack. Seems promising. I couldn't find a complete list of what will be included though. Hopefully the included Worm Wars will be upgraded to the latest version (8.6), fingers crossed.

That looks very nice indeed! I usually use ClassicWB but I think Amiga SYS 5 has convinced me to give it a try, looking forward to the release . Now just gotta get the A1200 to dual boot Classic WB and Amiga SYS 5.

Looks GREAT Dary... I can't wait to have my hands on it.
However under ASYS4 i wasn't able to update it to OS3.9 respecting the original ASYS4 menus and shorcuts... Don't know why. I hope i'll not have that issue with ASYS5. Very very very promising. Keep it up! |

it is a collection of freeware tools to make workbench more complete and better to use. and it looks very modern and nice. you still need the original workbench to install it over and amiga hardware / pc with amiga emulation.

Server error has been fixed.
I got multiple mails on a daily basis about disconnected or damaged downloads. The problem is mostly fixed, but in some cases, it may still not work. That is why a second server has been launched (Server 2 at downloads), which is 100% stable, so that is the preferred one. Thanks to FOL/PSPUAE Dev Team for the webspace. There were minor changes and uploads, too... |

Good work.. I just feel like being one of those anoying kids in the back of the car..
"are we there yet ?" suggestion for some additions for AmigaSys5 Classic amiga: NE2000 and 3C589 network drivers (and tcp stack) as an optional module, kinda like the choices you give for the accelerator. |
