Here is the situation with Rogue Declan.
A few weeks ago the CD master image was sent to the production company. The image worked perfectly in emulators and on real CD32, could be played in audio CD-players and read in Windows/macOS, and there was nothing non-standard about it AFAIK. Just this morning, the production company reported back via PolyPlay that their mastering software didn't like the image, stopping with an error they hadn't seen before and couldn't explain: "Error message: 28 Non-standard pause". I don't know what the mastering software is so I can't look into that side of it. It sounds like something in the CD layout that it doesn't like. Two new images have now been submitted to PolyPlay that were authored in different ways, in the hope that they will be suitable. The non-CD versions are from the same company and part of the same production run so they are also affected by the delay. Sorry about this. I was under the impression that production was well under way and only found out about these problems a few hours ago. I think PolyPlay are in the same situation. I'll post here again if and when I find out more. |

The mastering company tested the new image but reported "the audio plays as noise". I burned a disc from the image and it worked perfectly on CD32 and Windows. So it seems there is some misunderstanding happening about the image and what to do with it? They are being sent a physical CD as a master instead now.

Good news, everyone! Well ... not everyone. I was informed a couple of hours ago that packaging is to be delivered tomorrow and the floppy editions should start shipping in the next couple of days. There has been no feedback on the latest CD-master though so CD editions are still outstanding.

...aaaand hot on the heels of that, I am informed that the new master CD has worked (ie: been understood by the production company
 ) and the distribution CD-ROMs will be produced in the next day or so too. I'd *expect* all orders to be shipping next week, perhaps sooner
