Gotek w/ Cortex says "Emulator not found"

I flashed my new Gotek floppy emulator with the Cortex 1.05a firmware.

It worked fine for a while. I added some ADF files and rearranged some games into folders - and kept the selector.adf in root.

Now I cannot enter the ADF selector anymore, all it shows is the text "Emulator not found" in the emulator loading screen.

Here is what I've tried so far:
Putting the games and folders back the way they were
Switching usb drive
Putting only the selector.adf on the drive
Soft reboot a couple of times

But still the error message appears in the loading screen.

Any suggestions?

your selector.adf may be corrupted, copy the one over from your download of the Cortex 1.05a firmware and see if it works.

OK - tried that, but with the same result.

Maybe I need to reflash the Gotek...

I tried the Gotek in my other A500 with success.
I then tried switching the floppy cables. Now, I am able to use the Gotek in my primary A500 once again.

I guess even though the cable seems to work on a normal floppy drive, the Gotek didnt like it too much.
With that said... I have been having some issues with floppys when using that cable, I just assumed it was the drive itself, but I'll have to do some more testing to figure that out.
