DK-Karaoke With CD32
Have you ever tried a DK-Karaoke on your CD32?
For those who have never tried them, i attach my old videos showing how my CD32 loads DK-Karaoke. The DK-Karaoke were the Audio CD Standard included Karaoke used in the early 90s not supported by common CD-DVD players or other computer. In the past I was able to capture the tracks on the CD and save them as MP3 Karaoke for playback on PCs with appropriate player; here are my old videos: [ Show youtube player ] [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 15 February 2016 at 18:58. |

Yes, I got a very cheap disc =
"Backstage/NuTech (Vol 4017) Female Standard Songs" Fairly basic, but did the job ---- and prob... cheaper than a Karaoke Machine, at least back then. Have you ever tried to make an image of yours ? All the ones I tried just made normal audio discs. ![]() Last edited by Nobby_UK; 12 April 2020 at 23:41. |

It is true if you try to copy Karaoke CDG Discs with normal burning programs you get a regular CD Audio. To duplicate the CDG Discs must have a specific software, HERE you can read some info, to extract the tracks in format .MP3 + .CD instead just a simple program like Audiograbber. In addition there are a number of commercial software TriceraSoft to run, capture or convert tracks of Karaoke CDG Discs
EDIT Found that programs such as Nero Burning have an option to create a copy 1:1 of CDG Discs, create a perfect ISO of my CDG Discs (Super Hits Feamale Vol. 2) and it also works perfectly on WinUAE Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 31 May 2017 at 12:21. |

I have used Nero in the past...
and all I got when trying to mount it (with Nero ImageDrive ![]() was "Invalid Image File (error 1315)" But I see you are using DaemonTools... EDIT Tried DaemonTools 10 but it would not even install... ![]() So found an Old Disc with v3.47 on it and that works fine. ![]() Last edited by Nobby_UK; 16 February 2016 at 19:44. |

You can test the tracks, HERE you can download the tracks Free, (so it seems) ".MP3 + .CDG" you can listen THIS player, then eventually burn and create the CD or ISO, at the moment I still have not found a program that accepts these two files. To hear and see the tracks Karaoke To hear and see the tracks Karaoke Player with the indicated, the two ".CDG + .MP3" files
as we do for video files when you want to subtitle movies |

Thought about up'ing mine (351 MB or 213 MB as a Rar).
Signed up for the FTP Server, and can access it... But no folder called 'Nobby_UK' was created and it will not let me make one. WinAmp has a Karaoke Plug-in Which will play MP3 + CDG files But not CDG+ discs... Last edited by Nobby_UK; 18 February 2016 at 00:58. Reason: edit |

Thanks. I've burned it and it works fine.
Then I decided to try to create my one out of my own midi/karaoke files. I used Karaoke CD+G Creator Pro. It picked up lyrics and timing fine. Audio can be replaced with wav/mp3 and there's vocal remover included that is terrible but I used it just for a test, maybe it was batter that I stuck to midi or maybe later I'll mixdown just instrumental from Cubase... Program outputs just a bin file so I created cue file, mounted with Deamon Tools and started Winuae. |
