Clearing A1200 + 500+

I have 3 x A1200 two with 3.5in hard drives and a A500+ with hard drive and PC emulator I want to keep one to use with Packet Radio.
Also loads of games which are unlikely to ever be used by me.
Likely many other bits knocking around converted BBC monitor and external floppy drives most at moment gathering dust in the loft.
I want the latest version of AmiCom for packet radio and to sell the rest.
I have boxes and boxes of floppies will never use with PC but seems a shame to take them to the tip.

I was a big user years ago but once I started with the PC they were shelved. However seems the PC is too fast the work the BAYCOM type modem I have and a TNC at £100+ seems expensive.

So about to re-start in my hobby and bought a new aerial and crossing my fingers that the old GB7OAR BBS is still up and running.

I still have to find out the old FT290R and Lin amp and set it all up.

So is anyone interested in the old gear? or can anyone help in re-setting up Packet Radio on HAM 2 meter band?

Thanks Eric

I would fancy an A1200 if it's in a logical price margin. Let us know what you're after though. I don't care about condition as long as it works.

Hi ericmark what price are you looking at, for the A1200 with or without HD.

Are the games fully boxed and how much are they.

I had not considered price I know not worth much I would expect main problem would be how to transport. The one without hard drive belongs to daughter and later than rest red writing may be workbench 3.1?
Some games boxed others just on floppy. All but one without hard drive are in loft at moment so I would need to get them down.
The 500+ with hard drive and extra memory built into hard drive and emulator built into hard drive my father-in-law has in his house again I will have to find it out.
Until I found this site I considered them as rubbish and only kept them for use with packet radio together with BBC masters.
Main thing is how to get to buyer as I live in North Wales near Chester and postage is expensive.

I'm looking for a standard 1200 motherboard as one of mine has died the death.

I'm not bothered about the case condition because I can use my original case. I also don't need the powerpack etc.

If you'd like to part with the one without the harddrive - I'd be interested in it.

Thanks, Dave G

For just the base 1200 unit, postage should not be expensive, easily under a tenner.

Let me know a price for just a 1200 base unit. I already have a PSU and all the leads etc.

Thanks!
