No Carlo, that's by design, because some people think that they can't use TC020 on an Amiga without a gfx-card and P96 or CGX.
TC020 is the default now, the v46 68020 is a bit outdated and won't work on OS 3.2 anymore. Many of the latest improvements are only available in the TrueColor version, even those for native screens. |

Thanks for what, Retrofan?
Didn't you read my post #3780 on the previous page here? Did you get my 4 icon lists or not? And when did they arrive? I've definitely a trojan of the German state on my PC, just noticed that again a few minutes ago. |

Yes, I received your email. My apologies, I've been busy with different problems in different matters like life-what's that?-/job...(add whatever)/studies/different programs giving different problems/divorcing...()/trying to have some fun for 5 minutes..., but they mostly weren't easy to fix at all. I'm still with some of them. Replying your message now, I beg you pardon. Last edited by Retrofan; 14 September 2021 at 01:34. |

Thanks for your reply Retrofan!
I just don't know anymore what is real and what is a fake. On my PC I could see the same directory from different sides (Windows/Amiga) with different contents and no update or refresh could fix it until I restarted the PC. They are trying to cheat me, they are stealing email attachments, redirecting emails etc. |

Peter run a scan with ADWCleaner, a very small and excellent standalone program, which searches for particular infections, if that is not enough use MalwareByte. https://it.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ |

Nice idea Carlo, but it won't help. I'm pretty sure that it's a trojan of the German secret services, they are bugging me since 2019 already when the authorities blocked my bank giro account, do you remember my post in the off-topic section?

I remember it well, anyway do a scan and reset the browser, I don't think that a State cares so much about a citizen that doesn't hurt anyone.
If Windows gives some problem with the files it could be a problem on the corrupted File System caused by many abrupt shutdown of the PC, do a Scandisk "option automatic Filesystem correction" to all the partitions even if these are in NTFS. |

I did a filesystem scan yesterday, but no errors were reported, nothing fixed. That's pointless, because the trojan puts the Amiga or WinUAE into some sort of a sandbox when it runs, I guess.
And I also did a complete Windows Defender scan, first offline and then over all existing partitions, but that's useless too, it just complained about an old CCleaner version in my downloads, because Microsoft doesn't like it. When I tried to get into the ComputerBase forum today, I could do that, but as soon as I selected the category for provider and Internet hardware, the connection started to freeze, because last year I wrote something there about the firmware manipulation of my router, and when I came back they cut off my DSL line immediately. That's life in Germany in 2021 ! |

Have you tried ADWcleaner? This is the best tool for detecting intruders.

Ok Carlo, if you say that I will give it a try (but tomorrow). I can already see the BND guys running away ...
No sorry, I've just seen that ADWCleaner is from Malwarebytes. I had the full package installed for long, it never found anything, and when the last update recently destroyed my complete configuration, I decided to remove it forever. Last edited by PeterK; 16 September 2021 at 21:43. |

ADWCleaner has been acquired by Malwarebyte, ADWCleaner is a small 8MB stand-alone/portable program that you do not have to install.

There are also "online" scanners like:

You can use online scanners like VirusTotal and your examples for a few selected suspicious files, but I would never give an online scanner access to my PC. And no, it won't help if all your internet connections are redirected to a "man in the middle" already, as in my case. Even what I write just now is under their control and may never arrive in the forum without filtering or manipulation.
