Faulty Apollo 1260 on ebay

which I hope to win....

If I do, I'll set up a £ reward for a friendly soul who can "fix" the card. According to seller it's "only" a few tracks that's been damaged....

Anyways... pictures are here for any handyman to see if it's fixable

EDIT: Hope this is not against the rules, as I don't sell this item, I just want to know if anyone can help me _if_ I win that auction

I think you'll find there are already 20+ EAB users camping on that item ready to snipe bid in the last second.

I'd be amazed if it went for less than £130

Whot!? You're crazy... Recent auctions:
£62 for faulty one
For fully working ones:
£150 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=200296296963
£116 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=150323038424

@Doc Mindie:

I can most likely fix it for you (I looked at the photos and it seems to be straight forward enough).
Be aware though: this card has a 2nd RAM socket, which means it's for non-desktop A1200s, so basically a towerized Amiga. One option is to take out the RAM socket, but I think it's probably not a good idea considering the bad solder job: removing it can cause more traces to break or to reveal problems with those traces. It's best left in there IMOH and just "patched".

Where?

This board needs (supposedly) a few patch solders to fix broken traces and voila.

OK, I missed the 060/1260 part. I'm not swimming in 060s ya know? ;-) That would indeed add some value, but even so I'd be surprised if it went over 130GBP. I guess we'll all wait and see. If not you and I, there are plenty of crazies out there!

@Doc Mindie:
Assuming you're in the UK/GB, then it's probably less expensive to send it to someone like Zetr0 for the fix.

@Doc

lol my friend, I lost my interest in the card after £65.

once it goes for more than that I can buy a functioning 030 for not much more lol.

£95 for hinky non-working equipment (the card looks like its had an upgrade attempt btw *atleast in the second simm port* ) is perhaps a little to rich for my blood... besides imma saving up for my sports car(s)
