. These IGN fucks know nothing about Amigas, and I've seen them dissing Amigas many times before. if they include one C64 game, be happy. |

Saw the 100 - 50 countdown - Typical America/Japan-centric gaming rundown. Pity that the Amiga/C64/Spectrum had much less impact in these places than elsewhere.
Sometimes you wonder if they think the rest of the gaming world really exists... ![]() |

The C64 did have some success in the States, though I severely doubt these kiddies would realise/remember it,& like Akira said more than likely diss either format-games probably didn't exist before the PC or the NES,(apart from the token Atari VCS).
Remember these so called reviewers are usually too young to have been around for the classic 8 & 16bit home computer era. |

I can see it being a really crappy list. Bet a lot of what i class as a top games won't even be there. And no, i don't have bad taste. I'm actually very hard to please and criticise a lot of things
![]() Bet there won't be any panzer dragoon saga there either ![]() |

It will probably be yet another list of FPS and bog-cliched modern 3D games. All we need is yet another list, sheesh! Anything outside the boundaries of the two mentioned genres will be token filler. Which is why I never even bothered clicking the link for even an idle-curiosity peek.

Well there isn't a specific one, yet on the list but there are already a couple that were ported over for the C64 and/or Amiga.
#100 - Pitfall, they list as Atari 2600 as this was the first one it was released on. #096 - Golden Axe, they list as Arcade and the Amiga version was for all intents and purposes the same. #093 - Sim City, this was ported to numerous machines. I'll see if any Amiga only listings are in the current list so far ![]() Hmm, wasn't Star Control 2 out for the Amiga first or did it come out at the same time or later then the PC version ![]() http://top100.ign.com/51-60.html#53 |
