This will be some kind of an experiment. The PS4 will not be connected to the Internet. I have no idea how this will work out. Is a modern gaming system usable without any patches at all? There are Day-One Patches around bigger than the whole Amiga software library. It will be interesting to see the result.

btw: I could connect it to the net, but I want to see if the PS4 will be just little more than a brick in ten or fifteen years, when all servers hosting the patches will be shut down.
I got one this holiday as well, and got few games with it (uncharted 4, One of us Remastered, Batman) and we got SW Battlefront and PvsZ GW2. So far, smallest patch update was 300MB (one of us) and all other ones were 8GB and up?! (SW BF was ~18)

Our library has nice catalog of PS4 games and we will use it, but from what I see, it will require lots of updates just to get them started, which sucks IMHO.

BTW, 2 games I tried are really good - Uncharted 4 and One of us. Will try to finish them first, before getting into anything else. (except Starbound, of course )

I built the first one, top piece of kit, very recommended. And Heather helped me a LOT during the process.

Ignored the average reviews, Bit the bullet knowing the FPS can get to as low as 20 on a stock PS4 Slim and got myself this.

Shadow of the Collossus had a bad frame rate as well, so it seems to be a tradition.

I might get TLG some day, but I'll await some more reviews and most likely a price drop or two.

btw: Afaik, the fps will only get better on a PS4 Pro if there will be a patch and atm there's still no patch in sight.

Collossus is one of my favourite games. But I must say I did not get into Ico at all

They will never patch TLG for stock PS4 SLims, $ony's good at making you spend more money and buying a Pro instead.

It's so simple to make it work at a decent frame rate. Drop Res. Or have an option to turn off some graphic detail.. But Noooo. Sony don't want you to play it a decent 30 fps frame rate.

This is the 1st time i've turned my ps4 on since finishing uncharted 4, about 6 months ago.

Sony Playstation 4 Greatness awaits! ... Pathetic.....

Played the 1st hour of the game, I have been outdoors and in water so far no slowdowns (yet).

Awesome game I could not recommend it enough if your a collossus fan.

That looks like a Serbian version of eBay. 1800 din is about £13.00 which seems good. Shame I need to register to that site though which has put me off a bit.

Yeah, that's what it kinda is. You have to register to send messages and be able to grade the customer/seller if wanted... But customers usually are not registered cause if you click on a phone icon you actually get the seller's phone number.

My NES library is terribly lacking, so I recently bought a bunch of classics that I needed:

- Castelvania
- Castelvania II
- Castlevania III
- Duck Tales
- Super Mario Bros. III

I have played most of these on emulators, but I would rather play them on my console.

Which capacitor is this? Or did you change all of them?

I ordered a custom C64/128 power supply from Ray Carlsen http://personalpages.tds.net/~rcarlsen/custom%20ps.html. It should arrive on Christmas Eve!

Originally I was considering getting a SaV64 but the new price for the latest batch ($85) was only $15 less than a complete new power supply from Ray.
