I'm just curious if anyone knows if these drives are compatible with the Amiga 4000?

No these are standard PC drives.

And why not? Standard PC drives can be modified to work with an Amiga.

I apologize for answering your question and not anticipating potential other meanings of it.
I read '[...]are they[...]' as 'can I plug them in as they are now'.
I have no means to anticipate any potential modifications that could be made to the PCBs that I can't even see.

Adapters might work.
