Yeah I've seen that description page before. On a lonely night to get the Catweasel working which proved futile. I barely understood what it meant, and I didn't get jack working. I wish they would get the floppy drive integration working in WinUAE soon, because my Amiga 1000 internal floppy drive finally gave in to old age yesterday. It booted up my kickstart disk but it wouldn't boot anything else after that. Tried it again today and it wouldn't even get me to the workbench screen. Since nobody seems to have one, I bought an Amiga 500 internal disk drive with the hopes of modding it into the case instead of my busted drive. Unless anyone has a working A1000 internal floppy drive? perchance?

It shouldn't require too much modification.

Alternatively, your A1000 drive probably just has the disk insert sensor gummed up and now it isn't reporting diskchanges.

you will probable find that as well as the discs sensors the read/wright head`s are dirty as well take out your floppy drive take the top off and give it a good clean this usualy solves the problem.

I tried using the floppy disk cleaner with those rubbing alcohol pads inside where the magnetic media should be and it still wouldn't read my kickstart disk. So either it's dirty in another spot that the disk can't get to or more likely the drive is busted. What do you guys think?

Did you attempt to clean the diskchange switch, located near the front of the drive?
